Flourish | Garden Blooms | Pastel Wildflowers | Textured Oil Painting | Fine Art Print
“Flourish”
As I painted this, my two year old climbed up onto the island bar stool and watched me work. It was very endearing as she commented in fragmented toddler sentences. I was so focused I missed her picking up the palette knife. She managed to begin her own rendition of the painting in the upper right hand corner. Startled, I gave a small yelp and walked her through not touching the painting although I still want her to spend time with me. This led to a full set up of her own painting station the following day. She beamed with her little palette knife and colors custom mixed by mommy. What started as a sweet moment that had momentarily turned to small panic attack on my part, ended in her flourishing in her love of art.
This is a fine art print on cold pressed archival matte paper.
